MADURAI: Tamil Nadu today reported 5,986 new COVID-19 positive cases and there were 116 deaths because of Corona virus infection, according to the media bulletin released by Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Tamil Nadu on 20th August 2020. The total number of persons under treatment including home treatment is 53,283, the media bulletin said today.
