MADURAI: DMK MLa from Tirupparankundram Assembly constituency in the temple city of Madurai- Dr.P. Saravanan- has shown his concern not only to the voicing people but also the voiceless monkeys.
He spent some time giving bananas and fruits to monkeys at the famous Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple in Madurai on 18th August 2020. Dr.Saravanan had inspected the civil works for paver block pathway at ‘girivala’ path of Tirupparankundram Subramaniaswamy Temple here today and during that time the DMK MLA fed the monkeys with plantains and groundnuts etc since.the monkeys are facing a tough time for food due to closure of the temple during this COVID lockdown.
Later, he spoke to reporters on various local and political issues. Dr.Saravanan, DMK MLA, has charged that the authorities here are using broken stones for laying the temple pathway at Tirupparankundram temple in Madurai.
