MADURAI: There is a lot of political talk about decentralization and development by some political parties. The people of southern States in India have to travel more than 1,750 kms to reach national capital New Delhi. Some political parties know how to divide and create new groups. So, is it not a good idea to have a second national capital for India, it can be situated in South India, in a southern State, so that it can generate new developmental projects, convenient for people in southern States,
Parliament can have a session in new capital in the South, Supreme Court Bench can come up in south and overall it will be good for India. This is an idea floated to the BJP because BJP is a party that can easily take decisions to split or share or divide a place with its clear thoughts. Second full-fledged capital for India is an idea that the people should think of. BJP should do since it created new States. This voice must come from the people of southern States in India.
