MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K.Palanisami is coming to Madurai on 6th August 2020 to hold a complete review meeting on the COVID-19 prevention activities carried out in Madurai district and the works that are now going on for Corona control.
Revenue Minister Mr.R.B.Udhayakumar informed this to reporters here today- on 31st July 2020- along with Cooperation Minister Mr.Sellur K.Raju after visiting Vadapalnji near here where a special 1,000-bed COVID Care Treatment Centre is coming up at IT park area. Madurai District Collector Dr.T.G.Vinay, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan, Additional Collector Ms.Priyanka and senior official Mr.Chellathurai were among those present during the preparatory meeting here today.
“Treatment facilities are being provided at five specially created centres in Madurai. The new facility for Corona treatment, the fever camps in Madurai city and strategies being followed will be reviewed,” the Revenue Minister has said.
