MADURAI: A hotel at Aarapalayam in Madurai city is doing its bit to create public awareness about wearing of face mask and using hand wash sanitizer for Corona prevention.
Subbu Hotel at Aarapalaym Cross Road in Madurai is giving free mask and sanitizer for its customers and those who take parcel – either parota, biryani or chicken rice.
Hotel owner Mr.Navaneethan has said on 18th July 2020 that public cooperation is most essential for preventing COVID-19 cases and the most important is to use face mask while going out. “Already Madurai district had over 8,000 Corona positive cases. Our district administration and Corporation are carrying out several measures to control Corona infection and our hotel wanted to create awareness to those who are coming to our hotel,” he said.
Local residents of Aarapalayam area have welcomed the initiative of Subbu Hotel which is there for past 50 years for trying to create awareness on face mask and hand sanitizer in that locality.
