MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) here will start the process of constituting a special committee next week for screening the applications received for the position of varsity Registrar. IT WILL BE AN EXTERNAL COMMITTEE THAT WILL SCRUTINIZE THE RECEIVED APPLICATIONS.
Totally, 32 candidates have applied for this important administrative post of the university. The list of applicants for the post of Registrar, with their names and address, was released yesterday – 10th July 2020.
“Our Vice-Chancellor will constitute a committee very soon for screening- scrutinizing the received applications. Selection of eligible candidates will be made and then interview takes place. I will discuss the matter with our VC on Monday,” MKU Registrar in-charge Dr.V.S.Vasantha told ‘Lotus Times’ news website- www.lotustimes.org here today- 11th July 2020.
Meanwhile, university sources said that the appointment of a new regular full-time Registrar for MKU will be over by the end of this month (July 2020) since there are some major decisions that are going to be taken very soon by university and for that the varsity needs the presence of a full time Registrar.
