MADURAI: After more than a one year gap, the Madurai Corporation has got a full-time Corporation Health Officer.
Dr.P.Kumaraguruparan, Professor of Community Medicine, Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Salem, has been transferred and posted as Corporation Health Officer of Madurai Corporation.
The Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine of Government of Tamil Nadu had issued the order on 28th June 2020, and ti is with immediate effect. Till now, Dr.S.Senthilkumar, Principal, Health and Family Welfare Training Centre in Madurai, was holding additional charge as Madurai Corporation Health Officer.
