CHENNAI: The long Corona lockdown had put all of us indoors. For the last three months, we are all confined to our homes and this period has turned out to be right time for hobbies, talent and skill honing. A short film contest is being channelized by Cinema Rendezvous and Green Goddesses to enable you showcase your talent in this contest which is powered by Hotel Savera in Chennai. The organizers are giving three prizes in the category of Best Short Documentary, Best Short Fiction and Specific Focus- Environment. Prize money is Rs.5,000 each. You can take part with a three-minute film why a particular person or a pet or eco-friendly practice, like a garden, a plant or any product that became a ‘Lockdown Love’ for you and gave you solace.
Contest is open to all. Entry fee is Rs.500 per entry. To be paid to Cinema Rendezvous Trust, via online transfer, via Google Pay. You have to indicate the short film name, project director’s name and category of short film. The duration of film should not exceed three minutes. Enacted fiction stories, docu format, photo compilation story with voice over or music, and music videos are accepted. Entries will be judged on form and content by a three-member jury.
