MADURAI: Senior IAS officer and special monitoring officer for Corona control in Madurai district Dr.B.Chandramohan had an online meeting from Chennai with private hospitals in Madurai city on 28th June 2020.
Fever surveillance, treatment, Corona symptoms, beds and facilities available in each private hospital, prevention measures and coordination between private hospitals and government authorities for Corona cases were among the issues discussed in this online-video conferencing meeting held today.
Every private hospital was asked to be alert while dealing with fever cases. Corona suspect cases must be immediately attended and information should be given to the Corona Control Room.
The private hospitals were instructed to provide all information on a regular basis. Separate OP facility must be there for suspect fever cases. Handwash, sanitisers and wash basins should be there in the front netrance side of private hospitals.
Private hospitals were directed that there should not be a delay in referring Corona suspect cases to other hospittal. Bed strength, patient particulars etc should be given to local health authorities and to the Corona control room. Representatives of nearly 125 private hospitals in Madurai city took part in today’s online video conferecnign mode meeting.
Madurai District Collector Dr.T.G.Vinay, Corporation Deputy Commissioner Mrs.Nagajyothi, Deputy Director Meenakshi, ACHO Dr.Vinodh Raja and others were present in this meeting.
