MADURAI: A silent homage was paid here today to the 20 Indian Army soldiers who laid down their lives for the country during the violent face-off with China at Ladakh’s Galvan Valley.
The Madurai District Congress Committee had paid homage and tributes to Army Officer Col. Santhosh Babu, Palani and others who lost their lives in the face off with Chinese forces.
Mr.V.Karthikeyan, president, Madurai District Congress Committee, led the silent homage at Gandhi Memorial Museum in Madurai on 26th June 2020. State EC Member Mr.Syed Babu and several party office-bearers including Mr.P.J.Kamaraj, advocate Bismillah Khan youth wing leader Rahul, Tallakulam Murugan, Kannan, Subbu and Ravi.
