MADURAI: All private offices, companies, industries, shopping places, government offices, apartments, flats and business complexes have been strictly asked to provide water for hand washing, wash basins, hand sanitizers or soaps in their premises as a part of Coronavirus prevention measures.
Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan has on 9th June 2020 given a press statement to inform all shops and establishments to follow COVID prevention safety norms without fail and hand washing facility in private offices, private hospitals, flats, shops and companies etc.
“Action will be taken for those who fail to provide water for hand washing at entry point. The visitors must be instructed to wash their hands before entering the premises……Corona is a notified disease and action will be taken as per Public Health Act 1939 in which various sections are there to take action against violators. Face mask is a must, water taps should be there, wash basins- hand washing soap / liquid are a must at entry point in every building,” Mr.S.Visakan, Madurai Corporation Commissioner, has said in a press release here on 9th June 2020.
