MADURAI: Election for the post of Lions Clubs District Governor of Madurai, Theni, Dindigul and Sivaganga is taking place on 31st May 2020 during Corona lockdown- Section 144 time, according to sources which said on 28th May 2020 that permission granted was violation of lockdown rules as hundreds of people go for voting. Since Section 144 restrictions are in place right now across Tamil Nadu, objections are being raised from social activists for the urgency being shown for holding a Lions Club election when answer sheet valuation of Plus Two exams and conduct of Class X Board exams had to be delayed because of lockdown rules and restrictions.
