MADURAI: The Madurai Corporation has been providing immunity boosting vitamin tablets, zinc tablets to residents of Madurai city by involving various welfare associations.
On 26th May 2020, vitamin tablets were distributed for 6,502 persons at Uthangudi, Anna Nagar and Ponmeni in Madurai city. Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan and senior officials were present during the tablet distribution.
Mr.Visakan has said that the corporation has been implementing various measures for preventing the spread of Coronavirus and distribution of vitamin C tablets and Zinc tablets was one among them.
“To create public awareness about prevention of Coronavirus spread, already public announcements through mike is being done at 30 important traffic signals in Madurai city,” he added.
Mr.Visakan has said that Siddha concoction ‘Kabasura Kudineer’ and Nilavembu Kudineer must be taken only for three days and it enhances the immunity power disease resistance capacity of people.
Corporation officials including Mr.Premkumar, Mr.Sekar, Dr.Vinodh Raja, Mr.Chithravel and Santhiniketan Flats residents association president Mr.Rajendran and Vajra Apartments Welfare association president Mr.Seetharaman, were among those present.
