MADURAI: The temple elephant of famous Lord Subramanya Swami Temple at Tiruparankundram in Madurai had trampled mahout Kalimuthu to death today- 24th May 2020.
This elephant, named Deivayanai, had suddenly trampled him while he was giving bath to it, sources said. The severely injured person was rushed to Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH) here because of severe injuries he suffered when he was thrown off. He died in the hospital.
