MADURAI: Having implemented all the Coronavirus prevention rules and restrictions like social distancing etc, the Madurai airport is ready for flight take-off from tomorrow- 25th May 2020- after two months of long lockdown.
The Madurai airport is strictly monitoring the safety aspects and all steps have been taken for operating the passenger flights which were cancelled after the Coronavirus breakout. Sources said that domestic flights to Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Trivandrum will fly.
Flight ticket reservation has started already. INDIGO, SPICEJET AND AIRINDIA will commence the post-Corona services from Madurai, sources said, adding that the Tamil Nadu State government had urged the Centre not to start flight services because of Corona cases.
