MADURAI: Eight migrant workers who got stranded in Madurai because of Corona lockdown were helped by the Congress party functionaries in Madurai to leave for their homes in Bihar.
On 24th May 2020, the eight guest workers had left for their hometowns by train from here following the effort taken by Madurai District Congress Committee president Mr.Karthikeyan and other party office-bearers in Madurai. Food and drinking water were provided to them.
Among those present to send off the migrant workers by train today include lawyer Raj Prabhakaran, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee State office-bearer Mr.Syed Babu, Mr.Kamaraj, youth wing secretary and Mr.Rahul Krishnan.
