MADURAI: Instructions were given to private offices, commercial complexes, government offices, hospitals and all private shops to provide hand washing facility- soaps/ water- disinfectant sanitiser for the employees coming into the office and for the visitors.
Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan has today given a direction through a press statement on 23rd May 2020 that the objective is to prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection and regulations / restrictions will be followed as per the directions given by the Central and State governments.
“The sections under Tamil Nadu Public Health Act and the epidemic prevention act must be followed in all office buildings. Corona was delcared as a notified disease. Offices, residential buildings, apartments -flats, private offices and all establsihments should ensure that there is a provision for hand washing – water- sanitiser- soap- for the staff- employees and visitors coming to their buildings,” the Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.Visakan has given instructions today- 23rd May 2020.
