MADURAI: The Corona positive confirmed cases in Tamil Nadu continued to be spiking today also – on 23rd May 2020- with the total number of positive cases crossing 15,500 today.
Media bulletin released by the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine- Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Tamil Nadu – has informed that the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the State is 15,512 till date.
Today, the State had 710 positive cases and another 49 cases of those coming from other States / international returnees. Chennai had 624 positive cases today alone, the 23rd May 2020 media bulletin said. Madurai district had one positive case plus another one case of Uttar Pradesh returnee.
