MADURAI: Siddha herbal concoction ‘Kabasura Kudineer’ which is being strongly recommended as an immunity booster against Corona, was given to nearly 30 lakh people in Madurai city in the last 40 days.
“Starting from 8th April to 18th May, the Madurai Corporation has supplied 1,54,460 litres of ‘Kabasura Kudineer’ to 30 lakh people in Madurai city. It is being provided in order to increase body immunity power and disease resistance capacity,” according to a corporation press release here today.
On 18th May 2020, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan inspected the place where this herbal concoction is being prepared and supplied to various places in the city.
It is being prepared at Corporation Velli Veedhiyar School in Aarapalayam, MADITSSIA Hall, My Madurai School at Villapuram and My Madurai School in TVS Nagar here.
Mr.Visakan has instructed the corporation staff to ensure that vitamin tablets, Zinc tablets and ‘Kabasura Kudineer’ are given to the people especially in slum areas to improve immunity power.
