MADURAI: Rice which was stocked to be distributed to Corona lockdown affected people in Madurai was smuggled from ration shops in omni van. This has happened in busy Anna Nagar ration shop in Madurai city today at 3 pm – 13th May 2020, sources said.
The ration shop number is BZ.003. Since it has happened in a broad daylight, the incident came as a shocker. This rice was kept in ration shop in Anna Nagar here to be supplied to ration card holders and lockdown affected poor families. (More details will follow)
