GIVE TAX RELIEFS, SUBSIDIES TO MSMEs: KARTI CHIDAMBARAM (Video)

MADURAI: The Central Government must immediately announce special measures for the revival of small and medium scale industries in the country which are very badly affected by Corona lockdown, said Mr.Karti Chidambaram, Sivaganga constituency Lok Sabha MP and Congress leader.
Talking to reporters in Madurai today- 11th May 2020, he said that it is already delayed and the Centre should act swiftly to save Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and businesses.

“Give grants and subsidies to MSMEs. Give them tax reliefs etc. Bring some employment guarantee measures also so that industry and employees will benefit. Relief should have been announced by now. Except giving Rs.1,000 to each ration card holder, nothing is there till now from State government,” Mr.Karti Chidambaram has said today.

He also observed that the Tamil Nadu government had made a complete mess in Koyambedu market issue. “Announcing a lockdown within the lockdown was a very big mistake, It was totally wrong. It is human tendency to rush to market when it is being closed for four days,” he added.
The Congress MP was in Madurai to distribute rice and groceries to needy people at K.K.Nagar here, organized by the Madurai District Congress Committee.
