CHENNAI: Out of the total number of 6,535 Corona Positive cases confirmed in Tamil Nadu till today (9th May 2020), a whopping 1,867 positive cases are linked to Chennai Koyambedu market alone.
Koyambedu market has become a main epicenter for spread of COVID. Tamil Nadu had 526 Corona positive cases on a single day today of which 279 cases are in Chennai. The total number of Corona cases in Chennai till date (9th May) is 3,330.
The Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Tamil Nadu had released a media bulletin today evening on district wise abstract of COVID-19 Positive cases till date.
