MADURAI: The retirement age of State government employees in Tamil Nadu is increased to 59 years from the present 58 years.
Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K.Palanisami today issued an order today- 7th May 2020. The increase in retirement age for TN Government employees is also applicable to all government school teachers, government aided schools, college teachers and public sector undertakings in the State.
This order comes into immediate effect, according to a press release issued today.
