MADURAI: Chithirai festival will be held in the famous Lord Kallalagar Temple at Alagarkoil near Madurai on 8th May from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
In view of Coronavirus lockdown and to prevent crowds, the temple administration has taken steps to conduct the festival event within the temple premises, according to a press release from Ms.T.Anitha, Assistant Commissioner of the temple, here today.
Devotees can watch Lord Kallalagar’s ‘Moksha Darsanam’ on website – www.tnhrce.gov.in. Live streaming is there on Youtube and Facebook also, the press release said and asked devotees to have the darshan of Lord from their homes.
