CHENNAI: A strange thing is happening during this easing of Corona lockdown rules. While State governments are opening TASMAC liquor shops and Tamil Nadu opening them on 7th May, the ordinary tea shops which cater to the ordinary common people remain closed. The Madras High Court has permitted opening of liquor shops in Tamil Nadu with restrictions.
Which is important? TASMAC OR TEA SHOP? The Central government should give permission for tea shops and instruct them to follow social distancing. Only a few people will be there at a tea shop, but thousands of people will surge towards TASMAC liquor shops. WHICH IS SAFE?
