CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu State Government has announced today that TASMAC shops in the State will open from 7th May 2020.
A decision was taken to this effect by the State government today.
According to a press release on 4th May, the Tamil Nadu government had decided to open the liquor outlets -TASMAC shops in the State- because wine shops in neighbouring States of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka have been opened already and hence people from Tamil Nadu border districts will cross the border which will create more problems in Tamil Nadu’s Corona control efforts.
