MADURAI: To receive grievances from its members, the Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) here has formed a special COVID Redressal Committee.
This special committee will take the members’ grievances to the appropriate authorities of State and Central governments.
Mr.KR.Gnanasambandan, past president of MADITSSIA is the convener of this committee that will focus on the hardships faced by tiny and small scale industries because of the long total lockdown enforced due to Coronavirus crisis in the country.
MADITSSIA has been giving representations to various Ministries and officials requesting for a bailout package to save the small scale industry, Mr.B.Muruganandham, association president, has said in a press release here on 2nd May 2020.
Representations were also given to Madurai District Collector and City Police Commissioner for their support to the MSMEs here which are undergoing untold miseries, he said.
