MADURAI: Nearly 500 poor families which are badly affected by the Corona lockdown were provided with rice, groceries and essentials by the cadres belonging to Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK( in Madurai today – 3rd May 2020.
On behalf of the party, its Madurai South District youth wing MGR Mandram had distributed the rice and groceries to Corona lockdown affected families at Old Kuyavarpalayam area in Madurai.
“AMMK general secretary Mr.T.T.V.Dinakaran had asked party functionaries to help the poor families. Daily wage earners and poor families were given rice and groceries,” Mr.S.Perumal, Madurai South District Youth Wing MGR Mandram vice-president, has said.
Mr.Rajalingam, AMMK Madurai South District Secretary and other office-bearers are identifying the persons and offering assistance, he added.
