MADURAI: Giving some respite and a sense of relief in the battle against Coronavirus, the number of Orange Zone districts in Tamil Nadu is gradually increasing. On 1st May 2020, there are 24 districts in Orange Zone out of the total 37 districts in the State.
In Red Zone, there are 12 districts while one district- Krishnagiri- is in the green zone. Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr.C.Vijayabaskar had released a media bulletin of COVID-19 situation in the State today with distribution of confirmed cases in districts.
Tamil Nadu had 203 confirmed cases today of which Chennai had 176 Corona confirmed cases while in other districts, the cases are in single digit only as per the data on 1st May 2020.
