CHENNAI: Opposition leader and DMK president Mr.M.K.Stalin had today-19th April 2020- handed over assistance to Corona lockdown affected people at various places in Chennai.
He provided relief materials to people from Harbour, Egmore, Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Kolathur, Villivakkam and Ambattur Assembly constituencies by distributing them essential items. At the MLA office in Harbour constituency, 100 pregnant women were given 20 varieties of groceries and food essentials besides Corona prevention items / cash assistance.
Mr.Stalin handed over essnetial items such as vegetables to affected persons from Egmore, He had reached out to 200 ‘Salavai’ (washermen) workers in Thiru.Vi.Ka. Nagar. At Kolathur, the DMK president helped people in a big way by distirbuting assistance relief materials to 6,000 perople. For Rajamangalam police station personnel, he gave sanitisers and protective items. Also, he helped 200 sanitary workers at Villivakkam bus stand by giving essential food items such as groceries.
