MADURAI: Enforcing Corona lockdown rules in a strict manner, authorities have today- 19th April 2020- have sealed 15 meat shops in Madurai and seized 385 kilos of mutton and 255 kilos of chicken from these violating shops.
Corporation and police are closely monitoring across the city to implement Corona prevention measures during the current lockdown period. Meat shops were already instructed to remain closed today- Sunday.
Following the Commissioner’s instructions, inspection was carried out at various places. The shops that were found violating the order were sealed at Aarapalayam, Karimedu, Pedhaniapuram, Moolakkarai and Pudur.
