MADURAI: Appeals, warnings, alerts and Corona virus doesn’t seem to worry several people. They still do not follow social distancing or wear masks while coming out. The gathering of people at a ration shop in Valayankulam near Madurai on 18th April 2020 clearly indicates that people are still taking Corona lightly.
In the morning, they came to know that the fair price shop is distributing commodities to cardholders. They thronged the ration shop and sat there in close contact, not maintaining physical distance. There are totally 1,800 ration card holders to this ration shop in Valayankulam of whom 700 people got their items from 1st to 10th April. The remaining cardholders turned up today morning and gave anxious moments
