MADURAI: Following the confirmation of a Corona positive case in Usilampatti near Madurai, local police and municipal authorities have swung into action to enforce strict curbs on public movement from today 17th April 2020.
A person who belongs to S.O.R.Nagar in Usilampatti had tested COVID-19 positive and was quarantined at Government Thoppur Hospital near here. Usilampatti police had sealed that colony locality by cordoning off the area and asked residents not to come out of their houses.
Drone cameras are being used to watch people’s movement in that locality in Usilampatti by police and municipality staff.
