MADURAI: Corporation and municipal bodies are using various methods for sanitizing during the current Corona virus crisis. Various machines and sprayers have been deployed.
Adding to that is the powerful ‘BHEL-MISTER’ spraying machine coming from BHEL in Ranipet in Tamil Nadu. This is a disinfectant sprayer that can work with full force and is now sought after to combat COVID-19.
The Madurai Corporation got a few BHEL-MISTER sprayers that will be mounted on vehicles for carrying out spraying. Madurai East MLA P.Moorthy had given funds to carrying out spraying through vehicles from his MLA Constituency Fund and to start with the work will commence from Maduarai East localities.
Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan, MLA Mr.P.Moorthy and senior officials of Corporation saw the functioning of these spraying units at ‘Arignar Anna Malaigai’ Corporation building here on 14th April 2020.
