MADURAI: Corona prevention awareness is being done in several ways by Central and State government to prevent the spread of virus. People are being repeatedly advised to stay home and avoid coming out to roads till the lock down period is over.
To create public attention, a Corona painting was done on Sellur main road in Madurai as an effort by Sellur police station for road users and people passing through road by vehicles.
On 13th April 2020, this huge image of Corona virus on the middle of Sellur main is garnering the attention of public since it is highlighting the message of stay home, stay safe and distancing which are important to control the virus spread.
The Madurai district administration, Madurai Corporation and Madurai city police are enforcing several control measures in public places as a part of battle against Corona through lock down and Section 144 curfew.
