Ramanathapuram: Responding to the party leadership’s call from national and State level, BJP functionaries in Ramanathapuram district have distributed essential items such as groceries to poor families on 7th April 2020.
The party’s Ramanathapuram district unit and Kodi Swamigal Thava Bhoomi have jointly undertook this reach out activity to help the families affected by 21-day Coronavirus lockdown and Section 144 restrictions being implemented to prevent the spread of Corona virus infection.
In Ramanathapuram town, food essentials such as rice, dhal, cooking oil and grocery items were distributed to members of poor families here today. BJP Ramnad district president Mr.K.Muralidharan and a team of party functionaries took part.
BJP district general secretary Mr.G.Kumar, district vice-president Mr.Ramesh Babu, district secretary Mrs.Gayathri and severl other party office-bearers including Mr.Veerabahu, Mr.Kumaran and Mr.Bhoopathi Raja were among those who were present during the distribution of food essential grocery items to poor families.
