MADURAI: Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan had today carried out inspection at the Urban Primary Health Centre located in K.Pudur in Madurai city on 3rd April 2020. He also went to the nearby Amma Canteen and Corporation vegetables market.
Mr.Visakan had given instructions that the staff must ensure that patients and public follow social distancing to prevent spread of coronavirus infection. The State government has been implementing several measures during this period of total lockdown and Section 144 restrictions due to coronavirus.
The Madurai Corporation Commissioner had suggested to the Urban Primary Health Centre staff to provide ‘Nilavembu Kashayam’ concoction to the visiting public to increase immunity and resistance power. Among those who were present during the inspection were Executive Engineer Mr.Rajendran, Assistant Executive Engineer Mr.Manoharan, PRO Mr.Chitravel and others.
