MADURAI: Section 144 place and complete lockdown due to Coronavirus threat notwithstanding, an animal lover in Madurai Mr.Chandrakumar is continuing his passion of feeding monkeys etc on the famous Tiruparankundram Hill in Madurai.
Even on 28th and 29th March he was busy providing food to monkeys, peacocks and dogs especially in this important time when devotees an general public are not seen anaywhere outside the Tiruparankundram temple. He does his service after obtaining permission from police and other authorities.
Mr.Chandrakumar of Om Sakthi Nagar in Tiruparankundram here isa construction worker. He spends money to provide food to monkeys etc out of his love for animalcare. “Government must provide food and water to animals especially monkeys which are in large number in Tiruparankundram…..I am involved in this monkey-feeding work for the past three years,” he says.
