CHENNAI: DMK President and Leader of Opposition Kolathur MLA Mr.M.K.Stalin had made special arrangements for distribution of required materials for the benefit of sanitary workers and corporation staff who are involved in Coronavirus prevention activities in his Kolathur constituency in Chennai.
On 28th March 2020, the materials were handed over to Corporation authorities by DMK MLA and party’s Chennai East district secretary Mr.P.K.Sekar Babu on behalf of the party president Mr.Stalin.
In a press release here today, the DMK President has said that 900 sanitary workers and corporation staff are being provided with handgloves, facemasks, dettol soap, hand sanitisers, bread, biscuits, water bottles and half kilo of dhal to the Corona warriors who are working on the field.
The materials meant to be distributed to sanitary workers were handed over to Mandal 6 officer Mr.Narayanan and executive engineer Mr.Senthilnathan, the press release added.
