MADURAI: The fans of ‘Super Star’ Rajinikanth and members of Rajini Makkal Mandram are on the field in Madurai to contribute their bit in the fight against globally threatening ‘Coronavrus’ – COVID-19 scare by carrying out preventive and public awareness activities.
On 20th March 2020, the members of Rajini Makkal Mandram including Madurai district urban deputy secretaries P.Alagar, deputy secretary Mr.Palpandi, Mr.Golden Saravanan and several others, led a public awareness campaign in the famous Tiruparankundram temple locality in Madurai.
They highlighted about the importance of frequent washing of hands because hand-washing is very important to keep the Coronavirus away. The Super Star’s fans spoke about the active role being played by many voluntary organizations and social activists to drive away the Coronavirus.
At ’16-pillar mandapam’ in Tiruparankundram, they urged the people to follow health guidelines and travel restrictions. The importance of using soaps, hand sanitizers and masks was explained during their drive in Madurai today.
