MADURAI: The second flight from Dubai carrying 155 passengers arrived at Madurai airport here today- 20th March 2020. Tamil Nadu Health Department officials and airport authorities steps took steps in screening the passengers who came here by Spicejet flight. They include 136 male passengers, 13 women passengers and six children, according to information received from sources.
Immediately upon their arrival and coming out of the airport area, health teams took steps as per Coronavirus prevention and spread guidelines and advisory issued by the Government. Senior officials of the Health Department including Dr.Priya Raj took steps for mandatory check on the passengers and doctors.Sivakumar, Balamurugan and Kabir have followed the screening procedures.
The passengers were taken to a special observation camp after taking the passengers’ signed consent in their own health interest and for the safety of the public from the spread of coronavirus here, according to sources.
