MADURAI: In view of several steps being taken across the country to prevent the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, five domestic flights from Madurai airport have been suspended up to 28th March 2020.
From 18th March, the Spicejet flight service from Madurai to Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore has been temporarily stopped till the 28th March. Similarly, Madurai to Hyderabad morning Indigo flight (8 am) and Madurai-Chennai Air India flight- 9.15 pm- has been suspended.
Already, Madurai to Singapore flight service was stopped as a precautionary measure. Passengers are being thoroughly screened by special health teams at Madurai airport.
