REDUCE SALT INTAKE:

The kidney treatment specialists have given some advises on how to ensure kidney health and reduce chronic kidney disease.

“Food habits is an important aspect here…….Reduce salt intake in your daily food. It should not exceed six or seven grams in our food. But it is found that the salt intake is nearly 12 grams in our food daily. Reduce salt to avoid kidney damage,” Dr.Sampath Kumar had stressed in the press conference.
At the same time, the daily intake of drinking water for every adult should be more than two litres for kidney health and prevention of kidney diseases. Physical exercises daily and fruits are a must.

If the colour of urine is getting yellow, then it is a signal that adequate water intake is not there for your body, the Urologist has cautioned.
