MADURAI: In a shocking incident, two students of Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) at Tiruparankundram in Madurai met with an accident after their speeding bike hit the compound wall of the same college today evening- 7th March 2020.
While one student died on the spot, another student who suffered severe injuries was rushed to the Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH) in an ambulance.The student who died in the mishap was Harbith Singh from Punjab who was studying B.E. third year mechanical engineering here. The student who was rushed to the hospital is Sansu G Sanka who is studying second year computer science and he is from Meghalaya.
According to sources, the two students left the college campus on a bike after attending an event. Their bike hit a wall near a curve after they lost balance. Passersby who noticed them informed the police.
