MADURAI: An international conference on ‘Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Challenges’ was organized by at Nagarathinam Angalammal Arts and Science College in Madurai today – 6th March 2020- in connection with International Women’s Day on 8th March -in association with Women’s Studies Centre of Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU).
Experts and experienced faculty have addressed students on empowerment ideas at the newly constructed Malliga auditorium in the college campus which was just inaugurated.
Prof.Fathumsa Hansiya Abdul Rauf of South Eastern University-Oluvil-in Sri Lanka, Mr.R.Vanniarajan, former Principal of Vivekananda College at Thiruvedagam in Madurai, Mr.S.Deena Dayalan, Syndicate Member, Madurai Kamaraj University, Dr.R.Radhika Devi, Director, Women’s Studies Centre, MKU besides expert Mr.P.Jeyakumar were among those who addressed the students.here.
Mr.S.Nagarathinam, college Chairman, Mr.N.Jegatheesan, college Secretary and Dr.Selvam, college Principal, were among those present at the inauguration of this conference today.
