Keeladi mobile museum in Madurai very soon (video)

MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Minister for Tamil Development and Archaeology Mr.K.Pandiarajan has said that a mobile museum showcasing the greatness of Keeladi excavations found in that ancient heritage site will be shown to students and the general public.

“The mobile museum will go to the people and show the great excavations taken out from Keeladi….There is a chance for this and we are thinking of that idea…..,” the Minister has said talking to reporters at the World Tamil Sangam in Madurai where a two-day seminar was held on ancient Tamil civilization, on 28th February 2020.

In this conference, delegates from 13 countries including Sri Lanka, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and France participated. Tamil experts and research scholars have taken part in this conference.

Minister Mr.Pandiarajan also informed that Poompuhar will be given top priority this year based on excavation report. A special officer establishment will be appointed by the State government for Poompuhar.
