MADURAI: The decision taken by Saudi Arabia government to restrict passengers into that country due to coronavirus threat has affected the travel plans of 67 passengers at Madurai airport today- 27th February 2020.
These passengers were supposed to board Sri Lanka Airways flight to Dubai from Madurai. However, after reaching the airport here, the passengers who planned to go on a pilgrimage trip, were informed that they will not be able to fly because of the ban announced by Saudi Arabia.
They were also assured that the ticket amount will be refunded to them.
