MADURAI: The much awaited evacuation of Indians who were held up in the ‘Diamond Princess’ ship on Japan shores were evacuated today evening – 26th January 2020 – and they are now on their way to India.They will reach New Delhi today midnight.
A chef from Madurai – Mr.Anbalahgan- who was one among the Indians on that ship heaved a sigh of relief atlast following the steps taken to evacuate them from the ship since they got held after Coronavirus breakout.
He has been repeatedly and constantly appealing to the authorities for the past several days to quickly take them out of the ship and enable them reach home before they get affected.
Mr.Anbalagan and all Indian passengers on Diamond Princess ship who are coming to India today will sent to Manesar camp for observation for another 14 days, as per information available.
