MADURAI: Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan had today received personally 82 petitions at the public grievance meeting held for residents of Zone-4 areas in the city.
On 25th February 2020, he was present at the monthly grievance meeting that takes place on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Accordingly, he heard complaints and yook petitions from people of Zone-4 regarding drinking water supply, underground drainage, house tax, roads, street lights, property tax etc.
Mr.Visakan has instructed the Corporation officials and concerned staff to take action on the received grievances within one week. He also reviewed the action taken report of the last grievance meeting conducted by the corporation in Zone-4 besides inspecting the Alwarpuram bridge.
Among those present at the public grievance meeting today include senior officials V.Nagajothi, Palanisamy and Murugesa Pandian.
