MADURAI: A ghastly murder took place at Kamarajar Street in Alanganallur near Madurai last night – on 23rd February 2020.
Muthuvel (30 yrs), who is said to be involved in at least 20 snatching and theft cases and is a rowdy sheeter as per records, was killed by Nagarajan (28 yrs age) after a heated argument. Both of them were in frequent quarrels for several months.
Following this frequent enmity between the two, there was an argument between them over a particular issue yesterday night. Enraged Nagarajan chopped off the head of Muthuvel last night and surrendered before the police. Tension prevailed in that area in Alanganallur near Madurai.
Police reached the incident spot and Muthuvel’s body was sent for postmortem to the Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH). Police are investigating the reasons for this murder.
